NOTICE OF PRO­CEED­INGS IN LAND CLAIMS COURT CON­CERN­ING PROP­ER­TIES IN PED­DIE DIS­TRICT, EAST­ERN CAPE

A land claim in the Land Claims Court is cur­rently under­way in respect of prop­er­ties in the Ped­die and Bathurst Dis­tricts. The land claimed is sit­u­ated between the Fish and Birha Rivers and includes approx­i­mately 85 farms and sub­di­vi­sions thereof. A pre­cise list of all of the prop­er­ties, an elec­tronic or hard copy of the plead­ings and, the typed tran­script of pro­ceed­ings to date, can be obtained at Neave Stot­ter Attor­neys, 37 Camp­bell Street Port Alfred, or the Legal Resources Cen­tre, 116 High Street Gra­ham­stown. This infor­ma­tion can also be accessed by going to the fol­low­ing web­site address (www.lrc.org.za).

The mat­ter is sched­uled to resume in the Land Claims Court sit­ting at Port Alfred Mag­is­trates’ Court on 30 Octo­ber 2017.
